Jury Awards $80M to Second Monsanto Roundup Cancer Victim

In the second lawsuit now of which hundreds will follow, Monsanto has lost in its attempt to avoid liability for use of its Roundup product containing active ingredient glyphosate that caused cancer. A jury awarded $80 million to a man, who sued Monsanto after he developed cancer after years of using round up on his 56 acre property. In a prior lawsuit, a jury awarded over $200 million, later reduced to $78 million, to another person who developed cancer after using Roundup. Click here to read more about the Monsanto lawsuit.
