FDA Warns Flea and Tick Pills May Cause Neurological Issues in Pets

The FDA announced yesterday that owners and vets should beware that pills or chews that protect dogs and cats against fleas and ticks can cause neurological problems such as stumbling or seizures. The FDA is ordering clearer labels on the products that contain a pesticide called isoxazoline, and are sold under the brand names Bravecto, Nexgard and Simparica.
