Shareholders Require Environmental Disclosures from ExxonMobil

In a rare victory for stockholders over company management, major stakeholders of ExxonMobil, including BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street, teamed up with NY Pension Fund to demand the Company make more disclosures and increase transparency in connection with environmental concerns. Specifically, shareholders representing 62.3 percent voted that Exxon report on the impact of global measures designed to keep climate change to 2 degrees centigrade.
