CFTC Awards Whistleblower $50k

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) awarded $50,000 to a whistleblower who voluntarily provided key original information that led to a successful CFTC enforcement action. It's the fourth such CFTC award under its new program that provides whistleblowers, who may wish to remain anonymous and be represented by an attorney, an award between 10 to 30% of the monetary sanctions collected in connection with the CFTC's action.
