FTC Shuts Down Tech Support Scam

A group of defendants, including Amit Mehta; Boost Software Inc.; Success Capital, LLC and Elliot Loewenstern; and Jon Paul Holdings, LLC and Jon-Paul Vasta, involved in a tech support scam that used high-pressure sales tactics to convince consumers that their computers required tech support products agreed to settle with the Federal Trade Commission and the State of Florida.
