Barclays and Credit Suisse Settle Dark Pool Violations

Barclays Capital Inc. and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC agreed to pay $70 million and $84.3 million respectively to settle charges brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission and New York Attorney General's office involving violations of federal securities laws while operating alternative trading systems known as dark pools and Credit Suisse’s Light Pool.
