Blackstone Advisors to Pay $39m for Disclosure Violations

Three private equity fund advisers within The Blackstone Group agreed to pay $39 million to settle charges with the Securities and Exchange Commission that they failed to fully inform investors about benefits that the advisers obtained from accelerated monitoring fees and discounts on legal fees. Affected investors in Blackstone's funds will receive $29 million of the settlement. Click here to read more.
