VW "Clean Diesels" Cheat Emissions Tests

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) uncovered Volkswagon's scam of installing a software detection system in its vehicles marketed as "clean diesels" and alternatives to hybrids to emit lower emissions only when being tested for them. The EPA has ordered that VW fix its over 500,000 effected models that include the Jetta (models 2009-15), Beetle (models 2009-15), Audi A3 (models 2009-15), Golf (models 2009-15), Passat (models 2012-15).
